Every weapon is awesome in their own element, but AC/s are great awesome for (relatively) low-heat firepower XD

Edit: grats on the mech BTW: I'm running mine with the Rifleman build (2 AC/5 2LL 2ML) - hows yours setup?

I just got my first Hero mech today. The Firebrand. Today beyond belief I found out I love Auto Cannons.

Firebrand automatically comes with double heat sinks. I downgraded because I wanted the slots free for useful stuff.

You do realize the ones in the engine are true doubles?

If you use at least a 250 engine you get 10 true double heatsinks - which make that worth 20 singles?

I'd say the firebrand is a good mech (had one),but the thing you need to be aware of is that it has 666 3 times (that I found) painted on the mech. If you are ok with that then ignore this, just wanted to let ya know. ;)

I never really got the panic over the symbolism.

Yes symbols are important and powerful.
On the other hand you can make numbers say whatever you want (and 666 may not even be the number of the devil depending on how you do the math involved....)

The pitchforks are more a symbol of archaic farming.....

Flames? I have a hard time picturing Hell as fiery - if God is light, then Hell (the place furthest from Him) would be dark and not brightly lit (by fire - only source of light other than the sun for medieval scholars, the ones who supposedly found all this symbolism)

Of course now, a lot of that might be me being reactionary to the (overly, IMO) reactionary people who keep trying to convince me of that.

I actually read some really interesting stuff about what happens after you die. According to some people (and a.. eh.. "Special Person" I've met (PM me about it if you really want to know)), the afterlife is actually parallel to our own universe and "Heaven", "Hell", and the planes of spiritual and emotional existence in between are spread across the universe and intertwined with one another in such a way so that everything within this realm exists within one another yet are still separate. Heaven, Hell, the planes between, and all of the beings that exist in them are literally all around us, but we cannot see or interact with them because our minds automatically tune them out.
