Just now I accidentally bought a Jenner K with MC when I wanted to buy the Jenner F (C) with MC instead.

Is there any chance PGI will refund the MC to let me buy the Jenner F (C) like I wanted? Does anybody have any experience with this?

Only thing you can do is ask. I believe their general policy is only one MC refund per account, a couple of our buys bought Dragon Slayers a couple of days before the sale, and they were refunded MC.

I would send an email if it were me.

Probably. One thing PGI has been relatively decent about is refunds on purchases.....mostly. It's worth a shot.

Yes, simply ask the support; if your buy is fresh you can ask them to revert it for you, they'll mostly give you back the spent MCs so you can spend them on the champion jenner.

Be aware that they won't do this everytime, so don't make further "errors" xD

Here's a tip about buying mechs.

You KNOW it is the wrong mech when the DEFAULT NAME of the mech DOES NOT MATCH THE VARIANT you intend to buy.

For instance in your example, the game prompts you with assigning the mech the name "JR7-K" instead of "JR7-F©" as part of the purchase. You can still CANCEL the purchase at that point.

I made an accidental purchase this week as well. While I don't think it's too bad, it's going to be a while before I get more MC any time soon. What I've been talking to my unit about though is that I wish that the UI would show you an itemized list for what you are going to buy for MC/C-bills before you hit the final okay button because sometimes it's not very clear what you've got in your cart (especially when the screen is darkened for the purchase box, effectively obscuring all MC/C-bill info).

I don't always use MC to buy mechs, but when I do I use it on Hero Mechs.

I can't find a single fiber in my body that can recommend buying C-Bill mechs with MC.

But PGI has been pretty good with refunds and item swaps, just don't make it habit. :P

I've made plenty of mistakes in my life, but I was trying to help you.

Whatever, no good deed goes unpunished.

I've already complained before that the buying interface is unintuitive, so that's the only tip that I can provide to you.

Send an email to support explaining the situation. Do it quickly though, not after you've logged significant play time on the wrong variant.

I can't speak for anyone else here, but I've never made a mistake that easy to avoid while sober.

Well... Maybe I wasn't completely sober when I bought it ;) I might have had a slight hangover from the night before.
