Try creating a new user account on your computer. Then disable everything from auto-loading, from Office to Adobe, even your AV software. I use CCleaner since it's a great tool for scanning the registry so I already have it around.

If that works, then you can either just use that login for MWO or reactivate one program at a time till you find the one (or combination) that causes the glitch.

It's also a handy trick for anyone who has performance issues as it frees up resources for MWO that would otherwise be wasted on other programs.
