It ****** me off. I want to play it; that's why I'm still here. I just get pissed off for various reasons every time I try... stuff like:

1. Damage not registering an obscene amount
2. ELO-screwing teams causing lopsided matches with scrubs and pugs that can only do 100 damage or less inevitably on one team
3. Poor game balance making serious options for play very limited

And more. Those are probably the biggest issues, easiliy. So I'm passing out free imaginary drinks to everyone else in this club. The "I want to play MWO but get pissed off whenever I do so I don't often" club.

Totally get it. Expect things to start changing with MWO slowly at first then get very rapid as Russ got Microsoft to sign the contract extension. What does that mean for MWO, simply put Russ now feels like he can free up some of the money grab cash to hire people and really start on development of things he'd already promised, as he was not going to come off any large amount of cash until he got MS to sign. Good for his pockets holding back on the cash, bad for the reputation of MW in general, but he got what he wanted and now maybe we can too.

Things will start to move in a direction soon, maybe not the right one, maybe not the one you want, but it will go somewhere!

This game is weird. Sometimes I have beautiful wonderful awesome matches, and sometimes it just sucks. Its like playing Russian Roulette.

Yep, sometimes there's six bullets in the gun and other times there's none!

Doesn't matter how many bullets were in the gun, if you keep rolling critical misses.

Any game with any randomization (in this case the match maker - and if you are pugging, your pugmates) has a chance to simply screw you over.

to put it another way:
Flip a coin, and you have just as much chance of heads as tails.
Flip it again, and it arguably has the same chance.
Again and Again, regardless of how often you flip - at any time you can get the one you do not want - 50-50.

To go back to the critical misses - almost everyone who has ever played D&D has had that one game, where the dice would not let them win - to the point of epic level fighters being bludgeoned to death by kobolds or goblins.

Big point being - while I sympathize greatly (I win 10 in a row, then I lose 10 in a row - fairly consistently) it is rather infantile to complain about the odds without actual numbers (which unless you have hacked into MWO's matchmaker - you do not have)
