The manufactured scenario. I have never complained about losing matches or getting killed. I complain about a segment of the match population having every advantage over pugs. I do just fine in matches and dont cry for nerfing this or that like the majority of the threads here. I call them nerf warriors most often. I have one issue since day one and I wrote it above.
Seems the oppisition will post any untruth to gain ground. I wont but will stick with one simple common sense argument.
Comms, timely intell and familiarity win matches. Pugs,Noobs and casual players get none of the three. I just want the first two so its a fair match. Thats it. The only thing I want.

Problem is, do you really think an online gaming community will use in game voice chat appropriately? I wont deny it CAN aid in things but realistically If I drop into a 12 man with no one I know im probaly not going to listen to them anyways because I dont trust them and no what there skill base is. The better option is hands down to join a guild and use teamspeak. It wont be a fair match regardless.

PUGs can't go to NG:NG or ComStar and find a group of guys to drop with? Cause that is the only advantage Pre mades have. It's an advantage that can be taken away if you are willing to download a program and start talking to other players.

I just get tired of reading that is it everyone else who is stopping someone from having fun.

I get your better option. But would it not be more user friendly to have more options? The basis of may argument still stands and everytime someone comes back to it its with and argument based on perception of future behaviors or some other outside scenario. Its pretty simple really so I cant understand why no one ever argues it directly?

Really can anyone tell me where any military conquest has been won by the unit with the least command and control or intell?

Biblical miracles not withstanding.

I get tired of your avoidance of the original argument. I can also hire the NSA to hack teamspeak and feed it to my moonbase command center.

Not the point Joe.

Oh im not denying it could help. But I doubt it would because online gamers are online gamers. That said I would rather have them focusing on many many other things.

I think a good analogy is arguing about a papercut on your finger while your missing a leg. (CW etc...)

I haven't seen one since the couple weeks following the last patch. SOmeome who was mad about "500dollargoldmechs" was killing everyone on his team for days. I reported him and then saw him a week later like nothing happened.

This russian was probably mad at one of my forums posts, mad i was giving directions to the team and that we were working together, mad at my bright colored paintjob, mad he never had a relationship with his father, or it could be for other reasons, who knows....

The last team killer i saw was a guy who was mad about "russbullochsbrokennpromises" maybe a couple weeks ago. This community is real small as it is dude. Maybe things like this, that happened more often in the past according to you, are partly the reason why....

He also made "russbullochssaggymanboobs" and was being warned about repeated through many matches.

I have not seen an intentional team kill in months.

The messy part of an intentional TK's is the chat that happens afterwords. Then you are not just one mech down by maybe two with others damages.

Accidental, yes. Like the 2X raven running up to a target that three others were firing at. I think it was my MG's that got him. Then the Locust, again with MG's running up to another target where a few of us were focusing on.

There was a guy last week in a trial Black Jack called AFriendly.......something or another legging his teammates. And of course I was chasing a Jester on the HPG map and we both jumped off the top and as I was running up the ramp after him, one of my teammates under the HPG came out and put a few shots or an alpha or something into my backside trying to shoot the Jester.

To TK a team mate for no apparent reason is simply that act of a immature child. As with all things immature children do, it is best to ignore them. They just want attention. Report them, then ignore them (the text chat is what they crave) and they will eventually look elsewhere for that attention.

Had someone pissed at me for FF the other day. Running Atlas and firing whilst zoomed, Catapult was on my left and kept poking his head in front of my left arm instead of going behind me and getting a place of his own. Then his friend interrogated me about why i was shooting him. I politely explained it was not intentional, though i was hollering in voicechat with my bro because he was doing it. Was also brawling with another Atlas in a different match and unloaded my AC20 into a friendly shaqhawk that ran between us. I think a lot of friendly fire is situational and spatial awareness, people not knowing what to do or where to move in a fight while trying to get away from enemy fire. Did see a team kill in the same day, someone who took company command and was talking {Scrap} to a few guys on the team. Dude running a Jester blasted his Cataphract after a bit of the smack talk, scoring himself a team kill.

I was diving for cover last night and ran into the path of a pair of large laser beams from a friendly Raven-3L, I think piloted by Steel Claws. He apologized for the friendly fire while I apologized for running into and blocking his shot. =P
