God forbid you arent top score, most kills, always win, always feel usefull, etc etc etc...

God frobid the game is difficult and forces you to work for things... to think... to play smart....

I could go on and on.... one of the primary things that ****** me off about this community.

It should not need be said but I want to clarify that last bit. The use of the term "community" in this context are more likely those that are not familiar with MW as a whole.

They may be seen the needed to help keep this sucker running, but simply cow-towing to those who don't want to have to earn anything and simply be spoon fed the games they play is also not healthy for the over-all game either.

IMHO any game without a learning curve, it is not a real game. I can play "marbles" on my phone if I want brain dead gaming. I do not want brain dead gaming on my PC and would offer that PGI carry on as planned and we can smooth out the wrinkles as we go forward.

If the Meta is so over-powering, I feel bad for all those Meta builds that die on the battlefields of MWO as if they are driving the ultimate builds and still dying, they may not be all that... ;)

Lots of folks like to blame pre-mades.

Personally, I would like to see any groups marked on the pre and post game screens. This would let anyone taking commander know which folks not to move. It would also let people see how much organization was going to be required and perhaps which folks they could support most effectively.

I never drop in pre-mades. I always PUG due to time constraints. Often there are pre-made groups on one or both sides. With 12 mans they don't make as much of a difference as they did with 8.

There are also at least two kinds of pre-mades ... casual and organized. In casual pre-mades, folks are on coms, chatting, passing info back and forth but their actions in the game are not well coordinated. They are doing their own thing with extra information. The second kind of pre-made coordinates their actions. Usually stays grouped and almost always uses focused fire. It is this second type of pre-made that easily swings the balance in games. They quickly prioritize targets and threats and fire at the same opponent ... bringing it down efficiently.

However, with 12 players on each side ... there is no invincible group ... a single 4 man cannot win the game by itself without support from other players on the team.

Anyway, in my experience, stomps are not primarily due to pre-made teams ... they are due to bad tactical decisions by individual players in the game that result in early deaths combined with teams pushing against locally weak opponents. (Choosing when to push is facilitated by coms in pre-mades).

If one side is already down two mechs and the opponents can find the opportunity to push a series of 4:1 matches by rolling along the end of a line of mechs and killing them quickly one by one then you have a stomp ... and it doesn't take a pre-made group to do it.

End of Match notification ONLY please. They (those who DC on purpose) don't need further excuses to DC other than, that "guy" they know to be better than them on the other Team or the Map. Thanks ;)
