I have to agree. Teamwork is one of the most satisfying things I get from this game. As a dad playing just a few games a week on the home computer, I'm never going to be Frontlining it in a custom Assault mech, so getting in the support role and teaming up makes me feel like I'm contributing to a victory.

Had a great team the other day where we advanced to contact, broke into a firing line, then the other group attempted to flank our left. I spotted it, and called for support. Sure enough, the left side turned beautifully, and we squashed them before they could come up behind us. That was a sweet "V". ;-)

The only thing better than that is dropping solo and no one has to command anything because common sense reigns supreme and every company member knows how to do his job, and the enemy is rolled up by Mechwarriors. Instead of a herd of Tourists falling prey to them. :)
