Hi all, it has been a couple of weeks and I thought I would report back.

1. Having a ton of fun!
2. Holy {Scrap} the learning curve is steep! (even for "old" pros)
3. Previous experience has helped some but still steep!
4. Screwed up spending by bucks and XP on first account, was to excited (big surprise)
5. By and large everyone is really supportive in game
6. Tip, if you might suck for a while pick a complicated call sign, the short easy to type names get almost all the hassle in game
7. I have yet to ask a question in game and not get some great feedback
8. Grinding my XP per mech is soul destroying (welcome to MMO's eh!)
9. Have unlocked elites on two accounts, huge difference
10. I miss the spiral effect of missle launch
11. I cannot hit a light mech to save my life, (ssrm for the win)
12. I have yet to spend any real world cash, but expect to drop 100 bucks during the next 6 months. (cheaper then beer)
13. Fantastic to be back.

Thanks for all the great advice and input!

A parting note for in gamer trolls:

Nope, were not going to rage quit and uninstall! we can learn to be a better pilots as long as we practice every match, meanwhile you cant become better guys as long as you insist on acting like a buttheads and trolls to new players and learners instead of just making a effort to be cool.

Just think, at the end of 400 matches, we will be pretty good pilots and you will still be ******* if you keep it up.

Thanx all!

Probably don't need to be told this, but if you do, do so in one big chunk - it is actually cheaper* that way.

*by cheaper I mean that you get more MC per $ the more you spend at once.

Welcome to MWO and congrats on the 900+ damage. I have never gotten higher than 600 in any mech and have been playin for 3+ months. It is all my fault though. When I get challenged by a mech I toe to toe it out!! ,...even when I should run. At least I stood up to that bastage and made him that much easier for the next guy to kill. I absolutely hate Jagermechs they are my nemesis. I have them in my mechbay but do not use them much. I am a laser, srm , lrm guy and not a ballistics champion although I love the LBX10 if I mount anything ballistic it is a LBX. I prefer the weapon systems that have been nerf balanced the most so I am disadvantaged. I have alot of fun playing the game. I normally get alot of assists only 1 or maybe 2 kills. I have found piloting from the big boys down to the lights mechs easier. I have lights, meds and assaulst in my Mechbay and to me the lights are the hardest to master. It is because they are so darned fast and if you get the occasional pingy map , they can be a real pain. I like them the most for thier speed but definately takes skills unless you connection is perfect and most my jenners are elited. Hope to see you in game. Cannot wait for my clan mechs to arrive.
