Greetings fellow MechWarriors,

Allow me to introduce the 1st Kestrel Grenadiers. We as a group have gone by a few names over the years. We were Clan Blood Spirit for MechCommander, part of 2nd Battalion for MechWarrior 4, and kicked off as the 1st Kestrel Grenadiers during EA's Battletech 3025. Our leadership has been playing MechWarrior games since the internet was pay by the hour.

We are a group of friends first and Mech pilots second. We accept all who apply, that demonstrate Maturity, and Determination in support each other. No member may criticize another, no member will desert another and no member will bring disgrace to our unit.

We are a unit the believes in working together, we do have a chain of command but that will not stop anyone from advancing, but first and foremost we have fun. After all please remember this is a game and your entertainment. Though still a small unit in MWO now we will grow as we have in the other games of Battletech and Mechwarrior. Many will return now that MWO is up and running and still new people like yourself will join. Veteran players are running training missions with TS3. Most of all we enjoy learning and improving and really sharing what we have learned. We are not going to tell you you can not use that mech or you must buy this mech instead we will help you learn what style of player you are what mech fits your style and how to play that mech to get the most out of it. lance drops with members and 12 man drops for fun and learning and just a great group that loves the battletech/ Mechwarrior genre. We want mature players and we understand maturity comes in all age groups. We want players interested in having fun playing MWO. Our plan includes participating in all new aspects of the game, we will share info gleaned from the internet on new tactics and new approaches to play from builds to map knowledge your having issues with the game or play we have players who know Windows and PCs inside and out. We span the globe with players from the American and Canadian West cost to the east as far as the UK and Europe.

Wow have we grown First Company is full and we are moving into 2nd company fast. What a great group of players that have joined our ranks we are running multiple 4 man drops daily and have run 12 man units against other Davion House units and unfortunately a few of the Meta Build teams. The learning experience and fun we are having has brought a new dimension to MWO.

Take a look at the rest are they telling you when you must play or what you must buy and how much you must spend just to play a game.

The 1st Kestrel Grenadiers was started as a friendly group of players looking to enjoy the game, share a laugh, learn the game and most importantly to have fun. We enjoy seeing members and we will announce times when we will try to use more of the game like doing a 12 man drop. What you will never get from us is you must be on so tell the wife to lock the kids in the closet and go to bed the 1st Kestrel Grenadiers takes presidents over everyone else. Not here if you want that go some place else. What you will get are friends who will enjoy the entertainment and become better players by learning the game , the builds and the strategy in a fun way. Where how you play compliments the group not you must play this way. There are two ways to build team work drill it into someone until they say uncle or get to know that someone in the mech next to you and learn what they will do and where they will be. We choose the latter, become a real member of a unit not a plug in for some organizers glory. We want each player to achieve to his full potential then contribute tot he success of the unit.

FANTASTIC group of guys, very open and fun to run with; that said, the "Link to the Right" on their website, the one purportedly taking the misguided applicant to the TeamSpeak Address littered with Kestrels and other Worthy Folk, asks for a Password.

No Password being offered, the now-disheartened, would-be-EPIC-Kestrel-Warrior becomes just another Average Joe without Access......so sad......

Mahap this could be addressed (pun intended)??

Oh, and I believe the phrase in the "Hood" is, "WORD up", but then again this electronic-age TechnoSpeak indeed prompts my moniker. Ah, well.
