This has probably been suggested many times before, but I think it is an essential feature that could be easily implemented:

Give us different colors for all three lances!

Right now, I can distinguish my own lance from the other players through the green colored icons over the blue ones. But there is no (easy) way to find out which friendly Mech belongs to which other lance.
Since MWO openly supports the lance-based combat system of BattleTech, it should be - has to be - possible for players to know in every second of the match who is who on the own team!

This is especially important fpr PUG-matches, as I believe.

I think this has already been suggested, and yeah I think that's a better idea.

not too bad of an idea, would be nice to know which lance is which at a glance........

yes please, this would help so much with quick identification and calling out warnings/messages to team-mates.
