One of the features of UI2.0 has been stated the ability to bundle items together. One example is to provide a mechbay with a hero/champion mech purchase.

So, will these mechs cost more with the inclusion of a mech bay?
Or, will PGI credit us a mech bay for each hero owned?

I haven't seen an answere to this in my searches. Thanks.

It hasn't been stated.
A lot are assuming that you'll be able to buy bundles after that but the cost will jsut be higher. For a player that doesn't need an extra mech bay they'd be able to just buy the mech

It would be nice to start getting some info about this kinda stuff though :)

current mechs are NOT OFFERED WITH MECH BAYS so you get what you pay for. The UI2.0 is to make bundling easier, currently its done by SQL injections into the back end and not easy to do on an adhoc basis. They may offer bundles in the future but not yet.

I know current mechs are not offered with mechbays..... The question was for post-UI2.0. Kinda sounds like Heroes are going to cost more IF they don't think ahead and give us the option (good idea Sandpit). IF there is no bump in hero/champion pricing and the DO include mechbays arbitrarily, I'd expect a retroactive mechbay credit for each hero/champion we own. Lots of if's......

As Sandpit stated we have very little info concerning this. So the question stands and it's food for thought.

Why would you expect that? Does this mean I should go to the used car dealership I got my Grand Am from back in '05 and demand some money back because the vehicle has depreciated in value over the past 9 years?

Would it be a nice gesture? Absolutely. But to expect it as if it is something you should be entitled to is rather bizarre.

If it was always meant to be and future hero mechs are the same price they are now with a bay included, then yes. These aren't used cars, these are bits and bytes in a game meant to be fair to the player/buyer.

I'm waiting to see how it is fair (or sane) to expect a refund on previous purchase because the items went on sale later.

Do not expect "retroactive" mech bays. That's just silly to expect something free because prices/bundles change in the future.
