Game balance aside.... since december of 2013 my pings with MWO have gone from >30 to >90.

I don't know what PGI did... I don't know if the servers are congested, or if they moved them... but it has negatively impacted my game play to the point I don't want to support MWO anymore. There is a HUGE difference between when SRMs and other ballistics connect, which has impacted the balance of how I play.

Until I see things improve... I will advice all who follow me to avoid this game.

I can't even believe the OP.

I (and many other players) have pings of 290+ (I got lucky once, had 270).

I consider I have done my part when my damage exceeds my ping (a local friends measure I have adopted)

You must have some other reason for leaving the game?

Um... 90 is pretty good. I tend to assume 30 is people pretty much living on PGI's doorstep.

I'm typically around 25-30. I'm in New England. Not exactly their doorstep. Close though, compared to some.

My ping has actually improved.
My ISP must have replaced the string between the cups.

I'm (hopefully) going back to college in a few weeks, where my Ping will go from >30 to >90. If I stop playing MechWarrior Online, it won't be because my ping jumped by 6% of a second, it will be because of the workload.

I do know digital attacks are just enormous past couple of months. Not sure if it will affect ping but I read its causing lots of problems all over the net. Since the increase I do drop the game a lot more.

Make sure you move the date slider.

My breakfast sandwiches from Speedway have declined in quality (Yeah... I know, I'm not sure how that possible either) since the last patch and as a result I will quit MW:O... and I will inform all my followers to follow in my footsteps as a I stomp my feet in a hissy-fit as I exit stage left...

[Zur looks around and realizes he stands alone]... :(

Being magnanimous I will forgive them this time and I will stay! But be warned... I'm but one rock-hard cheap arse sandwich away from blowing this joint!

:(

No, there isn't, difference is miniscule. Unless in addition to 1st-world-problemish rise your ping also started osciliating.
