Let's examine it one by one :

1.Hero hunchback

I dont think i need to explain why this is a terrible idea as most players should be able to figure this out on their own (hint : it has something to do with the 6 month + broken meta of ballistic boating)

2. New trial champion mech

Cicadas suck (for reasons covered countless of times on the forum). Stop trying to get newbies killed by giving them terrible mechs please. I roll my eyes everytime i see a highlander with streaks or a dragon.

3.Weapon tuning

So the lackluster AC10 that most smart players never used got a pointless nerf (did anyone complain the projectile speed was too fast? ANYONE at all? Who made the decision to nerf the AC10? It was Paul right?).

AC20 projectile speed got nerfed which doesnt stop people from using the 2x PPC/AC20 victor/highlander build at all, or boating AC20s in a jagermech. So in effect, pointless nerf that doesnt fix the meta at all.

Meanwhile absolutely no tuning for the horribly broken pulse lasers, SRMs, LRMs, list goes on and on...absolutely nothing was done to fix the broken meta of ballistic boating (these changes wont, drop into a match and see for yourself) or PPC/AC20 loadouts. No matchmaking fixes to prevent premades with ECM/Ballistic boats from bashing newbies in trial mechs and making them ragequit (its almost as if PGI doesnt want more people playing this game!).

4.Bug fixes.

One rare bug that pretty much nobody noticed plus a FPS change in the front end. This is all you guys managed to do in two weeks? Seriously?

5.Hunchback cosmetic changes

Nobody cares until you make hunchbacks useful. I cant stop laughing when i see a hunchback ingame because 99% of the time its being piloted by a clueless newbie who is about to lose his hunch and walk around haplessly or someone drunk and using 3x machine guns.

Verdict : Fail patch, pretty much nothing of usefulness except for one minor bug fix, two weeks of weapon tuning to get projectile speed decreases for two weapons, one of which players never complained about.

I find it funny that a forum user can do more weapon tuning in FIVE MINUTES than a team of professional PGI testers and developers can in two weeks. Its really quite sad....
