I got my Hands on a used Bigfoot Killer 2100 NIC (Network Card) for cheap and i am quite happy with it - while the Ping is the same the Quality of the Connection seems better and i have a better responding game (compared to my Onboard Realtek Network).

Problem was, that i had no Driver-CD and i did not want to search obscure Downloadpages and it took me a while to find out that Qualcomm bought Bigfoot and offers still fresh Drivers and is even including Firmwareupdates.

Here is the Link to the Driver Page - chose "Killer 2100, e2100 and Xeno Pro":

Well, my Opinion that the Quality of Drivers for Onboardstuff is not that good gets proof again.
The little Errors that occured browsing the Internet are completely gone and it is indeed more responsive than my Onboard-Realtek on several Sites also and for some reason the PC shuts down way faster.

PS: Hey Realtek - what the **** did you do with the extra CPU-Time? :P

I was looking at installing a new NIC since that is where one of my main bottlenecks resides. Now, I'm on a mad hunt for one of these bad boys. Thanks for posting this :D

Good Luck Sir, i hope you get as positive results as i have!

PS: It seems that quite some new High End Mainbords have the Killer NIC now integrated Onboard.

Try this with the hardware you already have. It might be good enough as a temporary (or a permanent) solution.
