[VtV Pilot RAID]

This is a relatively simple idea. A sensor boost pod useable on any mech. as per the BAP ( as i understand it ) If an ecm mech installs bap the only benefit it gains is the % sensor range increase & ability to detect powered down mechs (which is nearly pointless). Many mechs could use a item which boosts sensor range only. weighs only .5-1 ton & occupies only 1 crit slot, same price as BAP. Especially needed on crit slot scarce mechs which equipping a BAP to gain the sensor range boost for the 2 crit slots. This would almost be an essential item on all recon mechs whom without proper situational awareness of the enemy, they are toast. I suggested a differing nightvision boost module in another post. this goes along the same train of though. Not new ideas but rather adaptations of existing ones.

I've to say though we have UAV's which are pretty similar ideas, though in a form of a module instead of equipment on mech.

There is already an advanced sensor range module that increases range by 25%. why need something else as well? There is also as mentioned the UAV module. I do like the idea of extended night vision module, however I personally would never equip it as I dont know when I'll get a night map
