Does it seem like they were applied with less attention or care than the mechs before it? The Sherman and Buccaneer pattern are two of my favorites and they look terrible on the Shadow Hawk and Thunderbolt and both of those patterns are gorgeous on Jagermechs, Cataphracts, Centurions, etc.

My only guess is because they were releasing so many mechs in that timeframe they kinda rushed it. Hopefully they'll take some time to go back and improve them a bit.
