I though it would be cool if MWO had an action camera feature with external views during combat or after combat when you are watching other players finish the round instead of viewing just from their cockpit view. Somthing 360 degrees with zoom features controlled with the mouse. Maybe a cinematic camera view too. And Also a replay mode would be cool with external views.

It would be nice to have a cinematic cam after death.....maybe keep it zoomed out a bit, or the cameras distant and up in the air a bit looking sort of down, so you can see all the shooting etc but makes it harder to exactly see what is going on etc etc.
It could work with a small delay maybe.
I'm not sure how bad or much people would be watching after death and relaying on voip what mechs are doing.
With the view either slowly spinning automaticly and swapping to preset camera points every 5 seconds or so (close to where there is some action going on) maybe it wouldn't be too bad.
As you would also get no icon's or HUD etc at this point it should be harder to say who is who, although people could still just remember where their team was, or what colours their mechs were.....(we had 3 dark blue mechs and I can see them over there...ok they my team, enemys hiding behind that building to your left guys! etc etc)

With 2.0, I'd love to see a LoL style spectate system, where you can spectate high ELO games. It'd work as an alternative after death Cam too, slap on a 1 minute delay and then let em watch the battle from afar.
