I'd drive that. ^_^

To bad I have a list of about 16(?*) chassis I need to grab to work masteries up, so expanding my existing lines is low on the priority lists. ;)

(*2xStalker, 2xAwesome, 2xKintaro, 2xTrenchbuckets, 2xBlackjack, 2xFirestarter....12 to go :P)

Some of the locusts and my 3 kitfoxes are the last in my mechbay to fully master. I dont count the 3 solo assault mechs I own just for the lols.

Saying that I really hope we get something new in the fast light mech department soon.

I have a lot more than just those 12 to master, but I need to buy those 12 in order to actually use the XP I have been building up on what I do have

(none of my Clan mechs have finished the basics, for example ;))

you should try 1 srm2 and 1 srm4 with 3 tons ammo and 2 SLs..

I found it better than the dual SRM2s.

Still really digging my 1E (2ML 4SL) and the 3S (3 MPL, 2SL) so much fun to had at 170k/hr..

So weird playing anything else and then getting into one.

It is the rapid fire rate of the srm2 that I really love.

I love that feeling. Especially considering that you are pound for pound so cheap and light that any mech you take from the enemy team is a bigger loss than it should be.

And they are GREAT at harassing the oh-so-mighty Dire Wolf. :)

Edit: for the record - my experience with that so far has been on the side of the DW - not the Locust.
However - if the DW's team does not help keep that Locust off him - there is literally no way to keep the Locust in front of you - or even get him in front of you to begin with!

Oh yeah. I died to a locust in my mighty Direwolf. A FLAMER locust! He literally cooked me to death. (did have a couple of lasers on him too.

I have joined the Locust club! Granted, I'm a bit new to the game, so some would say I'm a bit masochistic to buy a locust of all things. But goods things come to those who are crazy!

And thanks to Iraqi for helping me out so far! ;) Feel free to add me if anyone wants someone to run with. I'm in-game right now.

Edit: My very first run with my 3M, I killed a Jenner point blank in the back. Then promptly died to a teammates airstrike.

'ey monkey! Saw you in the one game ;). I was gonna add you, but figured I'd ask first before sending a blind invite. I'll rummage through your builds as well, since I plan on buying the whole locust line up.

Go ahead. but I am done for the moment been on mwo all day

Just working on mastering my last locust the 1E these days, the rest are all finished up as of yesterday.

I have been grinding up my new summoner and nova mechs today but nothing matches the pure thrill of driving a locust. just wait till you can speed tweak it and get into that 150kph-170kph speed range.

Yeah, I already got most of my basics done. Just have that last 3500 exp one ;). I'm struggling a bit into fitting into the locust role (standing still too much) but I'll play more and get back into the groove of things hopefully. Almost have enough cbills to buy another locust.

Very much debating on grabbing the clan hulls, though unsure if I should grab a pack or just individual chassys.

I actually died to a Dire Wolf in my Locust today. Hopped down to start the gankage, and popped a leg. Fall damage, not so forgiving of risky maneuvers as it once was. On the other hand, I get less poke damage from tiny hills now. Weird how that worked out.

Sad thing is, when legged in a locust. Even without the speed retention module, you would still be moving as fast as a Direwolf.
