The best time for LRMs is during the end stage of each match, when enemy mechs are closer and worn down.

Eh, I don't think it's really fair to compare a game that started out as a supposedly blockbuster level subscription based MMO(and failed at it) to a game that started as a free to play game, but life isn't fair is it? I didn't even last 6 months in SWTOR though, but that might be because it was a crappy WoW clone with great story(and I was already burnt out on WoW)....so once the story was over.....shrug...for the price of free, it should be a good experience for those that haven't tried it.
I agree, the MMO with the star wars skin was soooooo bad. I just deleted it and moved on lol.

Yes the game has issues but . . .
I played some other "free to play games" over Christmas and the new year and It doesn't matter whether your an elf, a tank, an airplane, dwarf or a space soldier man they all have more issues than mwo and most of them are real sucky, so give the devs and pgi , piranha et al a slap on the back and a hearty whoooo hoooo. Oh and I had a go of a new fantasy mmorp that will be released soon and man that has more bugs and issues than a rain forest.
So thanks guys . . . can I have my hero Raven x4 now?

I've been playing free to play game "Warframe" It took this game's place, since before I played that, I was playing this. Its got some issues, but all being said it has a monstrous amount of content, is addictive and when things are released and patches applied, it doesn't break the whole game.
MWO on the other hand, makes you grind too much, makes you play too much, makes you invest 100% in something and punishes you HEAVILY if it doesn't work. Mechs cost WAY too much for a free to play model. There is no way a person who plays several matches a day can master a chassis in a reasonable amount of time on the model you're playing with. Its transparently engineered to maximize how much grind a human being can withstand before reaching for their wallet. It might as well be a paywall. That's where the problems START.
MWO has more issues, with a horrendously low amount of actual content, only a few maps, as of last time I played, 3 modes, a lackluster user interface, and subpar physics and graphics to what could be done thanks to no DX11 support (its coming, whatever) To add to that, there's no voice support, again something Warframe has, MWO doesn't, for a team based game there are almost NO team based support features.
The real shame is there's no world here, there's no reason for the fighting, no context, worlds are devoid of war, there isn't any connections to factions, to reason to join or not join one.
There's just this enormous framework of stuff, like a huge house with no walls, you're amazed by it and want to live there when its done, but the bottom floors done and people are all to happy to take your money to live on the bottom floor, promising rooms with washers and showers and all this other nice stuff you'd love to have in your suite, but for now you can use the coin activated stuff down the hall.
It doesn't sit well. I find it hard to COME back all the time, its boring really. Maybe you can accept its flaws, i've tried (member about 6 months now) it wore off really quick.
