Can anyone tell me the dimensions of a grid in meters? I'm assuming they are same from map to map.
Thanks in advance.

I would not mind knowing the numbers, myself, as I am just that kind of guy.
However, I do not believe they would be the same across all maps, or at least they could not have been for the first while that I was a member, seeing as each map, from River City to Alpine Peaks, had the same number of grid blocks, though that has since been changed.
No idea just how big each block is, but it would be neat to find out.

It would also help in estimating the grid location of an enemy mech that is covered by ecm

As far as I know they were changed so they would have the same size on all maps, but I've got no idea what the size is.

500 meters by 500 meters.
You're welcome.
You're welcome.
Koniving is very knowledgeable, and I trust enough of what he says and enjoy random matches with him, however, that don't seam right to me. You sure man?
I am curious now too, how big are each grid locations, etc. Comes in handing why estimating location of an ecm light running 150 kph across a grid on a big map like alpine. Not as important on river city which is a TINY map.

Some maps are very small (Forest colony, River City). Hence why they get so big. (Forest Colony despite popular belief is just barely 2,500 meters wide at its widest points [overall map, actual accessible space including out of bounds is barely 2,000 meters).
It's been fairly common since 2013.
You can hear me trying to check it during that video because some maps do make you a little unsure.

They were originally not standardized sizes, but they fixed that long ago. 500 x 500 sounds right. I know it is a "nice" number but didn't check myself.

Yes, that does seem to be a likeable number. Thank you kindly, Koniving.
Now my brain can rest (and calculate and scheme) in peace.
