I have been thinking about this for a while now and the Stats section could really use a revamp. I say this more as a suggestion for examining effective mech layouts and strategies. Currently I have played around 2600 rounds of MWO. I can go a huge tear with a mech and not see it reflected much in my individual k/d/r and win/loss ratio. This is in part due to the mathematics of having more samples or matches played. The current stats also include those awkward matches where you are feeling out and testing designs and loadouts. Not to mention grinding those horrible mechs...I'm looking at you Locusts. The heart of my suggestion would for the stats to reflect the last X number of matches (10-20) for the mech in addition to lifetime stats that are already maintained. This would give a better idea of what's working and what is not. Perfect example is my recent changes to my Jenner. Prior it had a pretty poor k/d/r and win/loss record. I made some major changes and I am regularly doing 350-400 damage a match and usually one of the last mechs alive. I don't think my k/d/r has improved but I know my team is winning a lot more and I'm racking up more damage for my team. With more recent stats, I could validate this or adjust accordingly.

What does the MWO community think? I'm not a computer/networking guy so I don't know what kind of server load this would create I any at all. Does this seem reasonable and helpful?
