SRM ammunition installed instead of SSRM?

same here, SSRMs don't always fire when locked. only started recently

No, the SSRM fire, i have the right Ammo, but some games or some Mechs, despite having a clear lock, the deny to launch.

Had this occur last night while chasing a Jenner. Lance mates confirmed there were no ECM units in the area. Target lock goes yellow, and the circle is the correct size, but true 'tone' cannot be achieved. Selected another target at range, then switched back to the Jenner and it finally locked on.
