JM6-DD Custom I think that could be annoying in close combat because of all the cockpit shake. But I want some opinions and has anyone tried it?

I've tried it a few times. Not sure if machine guns inflict cockpit shake but if you can find a target with no armor you'll blow it up in a couple seconds.

I've tried it as a Flanker, but you don't need that much MG ammo. Maybe 3 or four Tons.

Yeah, don't remember causing any shake with those weapons.

MGs have 0.0001 impulse compared to 0.075 impulse of the AC2 so it does not shake the cockpit much. A better cockpit shaker while not having the XL weakness http://mwo.smurfy-ne...749254a48484343 Use the MLs and AC5s to open up some holes and the MGs to exploit them.

Actually fun to run and if you know when to Charge and get close up along some other teammates can be quiet a pain to deal but i suggest improve it survival a bit with this changes JM6-DD Boxing mech!!

The idea it's focus in the bigger targets on the battlefield, Assaults/Heavies if you can get close enough the Dmg of this can shred them in no time, also the lulz factor of ppl angrily focusing due the Mg dakka.

And what do you call Dakka?

It's the sound and effects of a constant barrage of bullets, the psychological effect of ppl believeing they are being overwhelm with absurd ammounts of weaponry and the 6 Mg seems to achieve that.

On the other hand if you think Dakka it's shaking and dmg stick to your Jagerbomb with dual Ac/20

I've run a build like this when I had a JM6-DD, It... didn't work. It worked better with a standard engine but even then was still really weak compared to jagers with bigger guns. Even with the improved speed you get from a bigger engine the low energy hardpoints are awkward to bring to bear and the machineguns are less than useless.

It's fun and it looks funny however.

3 tons of ammo is plenty maybe 4, but i have used this build and didnt run out with 3 tons of ammo, it is crazy fun but there is NO screen shake from MGs.
