Please refer to the picture on MWO facebook with the battlemaster and the hunchback advertising twitch stream. When I first glanced at that picture, I was like OMG now THAT is the pink colour I want my mechs to be! But then I just realised when I clicked on it that the pink was just the hit heat effect.
Now seriously, the pink colours in this game are horribly lacking. They are generally all too 'flesh tone'. I would like for there to be some vibrant pinks. ONE vibrant pink? Anything other than the horrible coral-pink and flesh-tone-not-really-pink colours that are available for purchase. Damn I want that pink hunchie hehehe.

I know a few people that would buy Heavy Metal pink, or something just like it for a "shock and awe" colour scheme. All the other colours have fluroescent bright tones, why not pink?

Did you have a look at Amaranth? That one looks like a vibrant pink, sort of like a hot rod pink. It's in the reds section.
