I made the crab back and then started tooling around. Finding a few pretty great build ideas with the missle-based hunches.
The 4J acts like a heavy-laser version of the 4 people with the easy to hit hunch, with an XL engine of max size it can dictate the distance of its engagement and bring its longer range equipment to bear, while the barrel chested hunch can spread armor damage as easily as a thunderbolt does.

This one's death laser from the hard points being so close looks AMAZING.

This one's pretty fun
These builds can easily be switched to standard 225 builds at the cost of 2 heatsinks (One internal engine heatsink and one that can be mounted in the 275) and an enormous amount of speed.

The crab back is a more durable brawl-friendly HunchlessBack using the 4SP's arm mounted lasers
Originally I built it with 2 LLs 2 SLs and 1MLs and a standard 250 to be more lore friendly to the Crab, but I find myself swapping in MPLs and faster engines to keep being able to dictate engagement range. Like the 4J it can spread damage with it's barrel chest, but is better at it as it has a standard engine.

There's more out there guys, all you guys that elited Hunchies back in the day (I know you're out there) dig up your dusty old 4SPs and 4Js and see what you can come up with. The increased customization of the Hunchback gives eliting a hunchback muuuch greater chassis versatility on a budget.
Edit: Mistyped on the 4SP variant

Hunch- and XL-less, my 4SP runs with 2xLL+3xML. 28 damage on the arms that can not be dodged is quite deadly. Hunting lights or brawling assaults, this thing can do it all. (Feel free to ditch a heatsink if you find the armor lacking. Keep the head laser -- you will need it when one side goes.)

I wouldn't go Ferro-Fibrous, because it has to be taken out for most other builds. You can omit it and up armor if you take the engine down one notch.

Actually, you would only take FF out with slow builds. Since the STD275 is my default for the Hunchie, FF makes perfect sense. That one more ton is what gets you another heatsink, or AMS.

Some proof of concept for the 3LL 4J, I got dropped to Orange internal on my left flank at the start of the match but was able to escape death the entire time because of the ridiculously barrel chested Hunchback without a hunch. I was only exposing my left side when I was not getting shot at. The build is certainly not intended to brawl but more of a mid to kinda long range damage dealer.

HBK-4SP

This one's a little weird, mostly a brawler. Keep the MPLs chained. Doesn't like extended battles but is good for delivering the coup-de-grace. Quite durable with a bunch of torso twisting. I'm finding hunchless builds to be tougher in general.

Like this? Really cheap if you bought the champion P model and are sharing an engine.
