This patch did not contain any fixes for the texture issues found on Frozen City day/night, a map that's been around since the beginning of MWO. Here are some stats for you to consider when you are spending your time creating more buy me items PGI/Russ.
I've dropped on Frozen City day/night 663 times as of right now. I've spent 2 days, 10 hours,19 minutes,45 seconds of playing time on a bugged map. You've spend 0 time to correct this issue and I know I'm not the only one with the problem. This is the only map that I have missing and flickering textures. I think it's about time you fix the map Russ.

exit the game
navigate to the Mechwarrior\MechWarrior Online\USER folder
when there delete the shaders folder
update your video drivers
game will rebuild all shaders and all your textures will be fixed
you may notice a few yellow blurs and crazy textures as you load each level for the first time (its normal and ok)

Thank you, but I should not have to do this over and over and over and over for more then a year. This is a good suggestion for those who don't already know this and it's something I might have pointed out in my previous post, but I've been playing this and was an Alpha tester for MWLL for years. I know of this temporary fix and was one of the first to suggest it when it happened. This has nothing to do with our machines and everything to do with PGI and their lack of fixing the map so it functions correctly. Again thanks for pointing out the temporary fix for those who do not know about it.

I cleared my Shaders Folder and enabled VSync in the MWO options and restarted the MWO client. Totally fixed my issues with this missing texture thing. I have a Radeon 7870.

This might seem like a radical idea, but why doesn't the patcher just do this every patch? It adds like zero to the load time. Coding time is trivial

If it happened on more then just FC/N then I would say yeah it could be us, but I grantee you it's not us. Yes our system specs could contribute to the frequency that it happens, but our computers are not to blame for this. I have MWO on 4 different systems in my house with a mix of cards new and old, both AMD HD4870's and HD7870's to nVidia GTX550 ti. All intel CPU's from a Wolfsdale E8500 dual core to a Haswell 4770k to my new 4930K in my Rampage Black. It's simply got nothing to do with our systems and everything to do with PGI's end of it.

This will not work consistently. I had the texture issue fixed for almost nine month, than suddenly with the first patch in last december all of a sudden the texture bug was back in again. So very unlikely its client sided.

Deleting the shaders folder seems to be at least partially effective, though I have had one case where I had to do it three times in a row for it to work in FC testing grounds!
As I am not a programmer I dunno how hard this would be, but those of you that are, can you tell me how hard it would be to have the client auto delete the Shader folder on exit? It seems to take no appreciable time to re create it on start up from what I can see...?
If that's an easy code how 'bout our glorious Devs consider that as a rapid and temporary partial fix until they get UI 2 and the other "Holy Grail" code further along.. Hmmm?

This problem has to do with the shaders getting corrupted when playing the game. This is on PGIs end and it should be fixed.

Have you checked to see if this is in the Features Suggestion thread, and if not, posted it there?
