For those who are going to swap everything out anyway, so dropping an extra 300k for an engine you aren't gonna use anyway...

It would be like going to a car dealership and attempting to buy a bare car chassis. In other words, not going to happen.

except you can do this at... junkyard
PEOPLE THAT SELL THEIR MECHS BACK TO THE MECHSTORE GET THEIR CHASSIS STRIP AND YOU CAN LOOK IN THE USED CHASSIS SECTION AND DIG ONE OUT.
Fund it. Fund it hard.

A reverse ebay!

1. Offer stuff you no longer want for a fixed price.
2. Somebody buys it.
3. You get CB.

People who desperately need CB will offer their stuff cheap, people who can wait will offer it closer to the original price.

Combine that with the fluctuating prices caused by CW... Yeah, baby!

PGI already stated in some of the Ask The Devs that this will not happen.

There definitely should be some sort of market exchange to go with the feeble economy. I only get half price for my stuffs if I sell it, but you still have to buy it at full. With a market, maybe I can sell at 75%, we both win.

PGI definitely has to add some features to create a "living" economy, especially when the CB-price-fluctuations of CW are supposed to be exploited by gamers. (I bet, the black market will have MC-prices.)

Maybe PGI is afraid that exchanging spare parts across the community would reduce the need for CB, thereby giving gamers more room to spend CB instead of MC.

Well, there shouldn't be an exchange like swap meet. Cash (CB) only exchange.

I vote instead to add a strip mech button LIKE OTHER MW GAMES HAD?

Kinda irritating to manually drag every component out.
