My new c-bill grinder, perfect for getting assists with LRM 5 and being a pain with Gauss/Dual ER PPC.
ER LL in case your enemy doesn't explode after the first salvo.
Already dropped about 15 times, this build is unbelievably good at surviving if you keep your distance.

The LRM is a waste. You could install BAP or AMS + armor for that tonnage. Or on a RS install a TAG which would give you far more points.

I was thinking about an AMS, but decided to drop it since all you have to do is stand behind a rock and you're safe.
As for BAP, i don't rely on sensors when spotting. If my radar picks them up, so can theirs.

^ That is not true. BAP plus sensor range module is quite a long distance. You would be getting spotting assists on maps like alpine. Don't forget CECM points at close range.

Do you find the LRM5 that profitable?

^Yes, whenever i see someone, say a light vs light, i send some missiles that way. Some cockpit shake and damage are always helpful.
I don't know how close you have to be to counter an ECM with BAP. Even then, i stay away from both teammates and enemies to avoid their attention. They're more likely to focus on the main force.
Spotting isn't an option for me either. I usually pop in/out of cover when shooting, so i can't keep a lock for too long.
Of course, your playstyle may differ.

I dont see 5 lrms really reaching home with the sudden influx of AMS in the game. But I like the rest of it.

This build looks very interesting, I think I would go DDC for 3 LRM5s, or take off the LRM5 alltogether for BAP/AMS. Im also suprised at how heat efficent it is.

CASE is a waste. It only prevents damage from SPREADING, not the damage of the gauss cannon blowing up. The gauss will detonate for 20 damage once it goes. Given how fragile it is, it will go long before your side torso internals are significantly damaged. In the Atlas I use a gauss in, the side torso almost always survives the gauss blowing out (albeit heavily damaged).

I think you are better off rolling .5 tons back into your build than carrying a CASE that does basically nothing.

Not crazy about the chest ERLAS either. I guess you can use it to zombie when the arms are gone, but you may be better served taking that tonnage and investing in a bigger engine. You can probably fit a 350 engine and an extra sink in if you dropped the ERLLAS, the CASE, and trimmed 8 armour out of each arm.
