one of my favorite Clan Mechs, though I tended to prefer a slightly modified version, swapping the smaller pulse lasers and LRM for SSRMs and a triple of ER Medium Lasers. Anyhow, much as I am slowly redoing the mechs of the 3055 TRO, so to, the 3058 beckons, in part due to a request from Pariah Devalis, to re-imagine the poor benighted Huntsman.

So so far what I have done with the Grizzly is more evolutionary than revolutionary

so your input before inking a finished version would be appreciated.

As for the Huntsman, well, the biggest crime, IMO of ALL the post 3050 TROs is the design art for virtually all the OmniMechs is pure rubbish, a mishmash of odd curves and holes and weirdly shaped weapons, which are the antithesis of the "Modular" (hence the term Omni) mechs of the 3050 TRO. So my mission, is to try to keep the basic design features of these mechs, but actually make them believably modular. Yup. This is gonna take some time.

Hell of an upgrade! I like the asymmetric cockpit placement on it, along with the rounded arm parts.

well, it's actually symmetrical, but the launcher gives the illusion of asymmetry.

Does this "second lineup" imply more 'mechs are on their way?

"Second Line" refers to the mechs that are not considered strong enough to be on the front lines.

You may indeed. It could be a skosh, but I always liked the mech, and thought the art had interesting potential.

I am thinking the knee actuators need to be a bit beefier. Robust, but hard to get. You have the heavy plates down pat.
