Greetings to you!
I made this... thing. I call it the Haywire. Maybe an unofficial (and unpopular) runner-up for the Hero Hunchie? What kinda name is Grid Iron anyway? Pffft. Hunk of junk.
Please don't take it seriously. I'll try using it once I get some more C-bills.

Any types of remarks are welcome. You can outright badmouth this thing and it'll be totally okay.
Maybe you can give it a better name? Suggestions welcome. The theme is to make it CRAZY, NONSENSICAL AND CHAOTIC! Maybe something that correlates to the fact it uses a bunch of different lasers.

I take that build very seriously it could work if you use each weapon group for its range
I have a similar and its certainly is viable even though it started as a joke build
It is low cockpit armor and leg armor with a XL engine but almost everyone aims for my Hunch and the way i see it
Lose Torso with all my weapons - Lose Torso with all my heatsinks
been using it for a while and was gonna post in a thread where i got abunch a builds lol
My weapon groups * 1-2 = Small lasers on the arms * 3 = Medium lasers * 4 = Large lasers * 5 =3 small lasers 1 small pulse laser * 6 = All weapons on cycle fire
HBK-4P - XL 275 - 98 KPH - 288 armor - 16 Double heatsinks - 3 SMall lasers - 1 small pulse laser - 2 medium lasers - 1 medium pulse laser - One large laser - One large pulse laser
- Take a pulse laser to a medium laser and get 320 armor
Non pulse 96 kph , 17 doubles XL engine

Interesting. Might as well run an XL tho, since if you lose that hunch you are basically useless.
I run my 4P with an ERPPC only in the hump, and 3 MLs in the arms and head. STD 260, DHS/Endo. With zoom mod I can stand off far enough to keep my hump intact most games and when/if I lose it I can still be an annoying support mech with the 3ML (though you do mostly lose the right arm with the hump). I've gotten more kills b/c people ignored me once my hump was destroyed than I can count. They see the missing hump, focus on a more dangerous target and I core their backs out with a few triple ML blasts.

Why Haywire?
Put all weapons in group 1 and 2 and then chainfire both groups and you can call it the rainbowmech

did that last night (and still managed to do good)
gotta stay within 80 meters to spread wonderfull rainbows beams
it definitely made them torso twist/run more then normal

i had messed around with the 4P some with mixed results so one day i decided to toss 5 MPLs on it and give it a run. it actually did pretty decent. of course range is an issue but once you get in range that's 30 pinpointish damage and heat was in the 1.3-1.4 range so i could rapid fire a couple alphas before i had to worry about heat, instead of the alpha and pray nothing comes close while you go hide to cool down when i tried the usual 7-8 ML loadout. i just link the two arms to 1 spot and the 2 in the hunch/1 in the head one together when heat starts acting up. good for taking off components i've found.
of course there's the usual bad matches too when i overheat at the wrong time trying to finish off that guy i didn;t quite finish or run into multiple enemies at once, the usual death reasons (plus i lack patience which usually leads to the second situation).

An agent of chaos...I want to play it! Also, might as well move one of the large lasers into the left arm. I also sped her up to 80 kph.

Love the idea, didn't like the pulses or the small engine. Ends up with 90kph, 2L 4S 2M lasers but I'm sketchy on the low leg armour. Going to try this later on tonight
