Thanks, I'll try to run that on my laptop just for kicks!
Also, Crysis is supposed to be min. spec at a dual core-but it has been shown to run on a single core! So there is hope, with the right configuration you dont have to be out of the fight!

As I said earlier in the post, for all of you who get low results from Cryengine3 SDK demo even at 1024x768 - all graphic settings(FSAA, texture details, etc) are at max and you cant change that, they reduce FPS score a lot, but in MWO you will have options to lower those settings so game should run much better.
Demo is sort of 'guideline', nothing more.

I might have to build one myself then. Argh, not looking forward to that.
Easier to put together than a Lego model now. Browse the intertubes for tips and dry fit the parts before you do a final build so you can check clearances and such.

NO. NO IT'S NOT. Please for the love of god don't get duped into believing it's so easy, PC components are surprisingly fragile. Slapping **** together like they're lego's is going to lead to you jacking your CPU pins up, or something else.

We all know that MWO will use Cry engine 3, so you can download cryengine 3 free SDK here (free for non-commercial use) and test your PC configuration. I'm sure that's not the same engine that developers use, but it should be close enough.
When you download the 1 GB large zip file, you don't need to install it, just unpack it on your hard disk and browse to Bin32 (or Bin64 depending on your OS) folder and run Launcher.exe file, which is some kind of demo game made in CryEngine 3 with FPS counter included.
On my low end configuration I got 20fps, but demo is with all high end graphic settings (FSAA, High-Res textures, Hi LoD, Water simulation, reflections, etc) so I'm sure I can get more fps when graphics details are set on lower settings.
Cheers!

Ok I use to have a small program that would look at my system and tell me what it had. Any one know of a program that will put out the info so it can be posted?

Thanks for this. Despite my worries that my olde pc would not be able to handle MWO, it turns out it probably can! Bit choppy perhaps, but I can live with that. I'll just play fire support for a while.
