In the first 2 sections of the table above, it shows current values for LPL and MPL.

After the previous round of buffs, LPLs are actually in a pretty good place now.

However, MPL are still pretty bad, mainly due to the fact that they are twice as heavy as a normal ML. MPLs are also 25% as hot as normal MLs. These are massive penalties which isn't balanced by certain advantages.

In the third section are values I am proposing for MPLs. They are still twice as heavy as I don't want to mess with tonnage. The new values given MPLs similar range and heat penalties as LPLs, while doing more damage, percentage wise.

Medium pulse lasers don't need more range. More damage? Sure. Less heat? Yeah, as long as you give medium and small lasers a bit of the same treatment. Better firing mechanic? Great! What they don't need to do is encroach ever further into the role of medium lasers. Also, there's this;
