While I'm not sure if the Razer Artemis was a one time deal or a litmus test for further Mechwarrior merchandise I do know it couldn't hurt to post our reasonable desires to give PGI something to think about beyond relying solely on MWO for profit should they choose to do so.

Two items that I would love to own are a hard cover art book by Alex Iglesias and the other artists of MechWarrior Online and an actual Battlemech model kit.Alex Iglesias is a gift from God when it comes to his work. For decades, Battlemechs both drawn and digitally rendered have taken turns being horribly ugly or simply passable until he became involved and introduced us to his modern reworkings of classics, making even a zeppelin with legs like the Stalker visually appealing.A well bound collection of work by him and his fellow artists would be welcomed on my shelf along side similar entries from Yoji Sinkawa and other mechanical designers.

The second item will probably never come to fruition but I thought i would post it anyway.Like I said before I love the new designs presented in MechWarrior Online, so much so in fact I would love to have them shrunken down into 1/60 scale and sold in mass. The thought of buying a 1/60 Atlas,Mad Cat, or Cataphract and sitting down, adding water slide decals and adoring it in my personal colors makes me want them even more.I know Kotobukiya does a lot of international work, maybe they would make them.

I would probably buy some sort of specially made mechwarrior joystick/throttle, even better if I has some kind of tiny screen in the middle to interact with the game. Or some sort of elite package that gave me early access to the game.

I'd love to buy a controller like that, or Even maybe offer support for the old X-box Steel Battalion Controller.

Branded "Depends" undergarments.

They are not just for bladder control problems, you know.

I still have mine from the Army, I do not wear them now. I would not wear MW:O dogtags.

Please tell me I'm not the only one hearing Yogurt from Spaceballs giving his spiel on "Merchandizing! Where the real money from the movie is made!"...

I think the issue there is getting around the original Xbox's unique connector. There are homebrew solutions, but an "official" workaround might have legal issues with copyright. We are talking about Microsoft, after all.

Snarky comments aside, I wouldn't by the Artemis. Aside from a minor bias against Razor products, I think there are better options out there for around the probable price-point.

I do like the idea of a scale model of the redesigned 'Mechs, however. I plan on buying a BattleTech tabletop mini of whatever 'Mech I end up using the most and painting it in my MercCorp's colors. I would buy a scale model of my main 'Mech as soon as it went on sale.

I could also see them doing something small, like a bumper sticker that says "My other car is a <insert 'Mech model>." Inexpensive and simple, if a bit cliché.

This. Made by me and my model making company. Seriously.

Would be awesome.

screw MS re: this issue.
There is a thread on MW:LL you may want to look at

as far as models of Macross style and perhaps Dougram, check out Hobby Link Japan for the best prices

A Warhammer perhaps or a Crabgunner quad t-shirt?
