We now have a Cockpit glass effect . You may not think this was a big deal but it helps reinforce the cockpit feel and immerse the player in the action.

There are a number of users who have issues with the glass and multiple threads regarding an on/off toggle.

I personally don't like it and would like to be able to turn it off. It is not immersive in that its uneven between mechs, has drastically different effects depending on the map, we already have numerous visual obstructions ( haze, fog, snow, etc ), and it is unreasonable to think that they cant scrape the {Scrap} off a windshield in the year 3050.

Oh, in real life you have some "visual obstructions" as well. Nerf real life?
No, you don't have glass without scratches unless you have a brand-new mech.

Yes, some mechs need more glass effects, you can hardly notice them.
