I have a strange problem. On my old Windows install everything was working fine. I just upgraded to an SSD with a fresh Windows install and naturally I installed all the latest drivers and everything.

The problem is that the game sounds terrible now. It sounds muffled as if I am underwater. It happens on all maps and is not the same distortion that is intentional on HPG manifold. It happens ONLY in MWO and Windows and Skype and other programs sound fine. Ballistic weapons aren't so bad and sound mostly the same but lasers and PPC weapons sound TERRIBLE and make it hard to play. I can't tell where sounds come from or even what a weapon is sometimes.

Has anyone else had a similar problem or have any ideas? I can try older drivers but I don't have much time lately so I just wanted to see if this was a known issue with existing fixes before I spend too much time on it. Thanks!
