Hey guys,

I have recently played MechCommander 1 and 2 (even the MechCommander Gold and MechCommander Omnitech) However, I can't get any of this to play in multiplayer.
If you're familiar with these games you probably know what I mean.

I am dyeing to take on some friends over LAN with either of these games, does anyone know how to make either of them work?

Hi, you actually can play MechCommander Gold on Multiplayer via GameRanger.

You may play Mechcommander 2 too, but it doesn't work at my home...so if you got some solution, I take it !

I have MechCommander 2 (I stink, but still). Would love some friendly competition! I wonder if you can host over an IP?

Hello Coollew I got mechcommander 1 multiplayer working through a program called GameRanger. It allows some old games to play online. I'll put the tutorial video link I used a year ago and hopefully it will help you too if you want to use it.



And also here is a video of me and a friend of mine playing mechcommander after getting Gameranger to work.
