Out of all the 75 some mechs I own, the Atlas D is by far my favorite. Even with the SRM's being as broke as the currently are, I still find my gameplay with the "Big D" enjoyable. So on to my dilemma. Im a greedy ******* and I enjoy the added bonus 30% c-bill bonus of the Hero mechs and I kick myself in the *** every day for not discovering MWO until after the Founders program was over.
My question to all other mech drivers is, would you pay for the ability to place a "Hero type" bonus onto any one mech of your choosing? Im sure I'm not the only one out there who's go to mech isn't a Hero. So I propose;
1. MC or C-Bill purchasable
2. 30% C-Bill or XP boost (your choice)
3. Can not be place on an existing Hero or Champion mech
4. Only one (1) mech can have this ability at a time
5. If you wanted to move it you would have to purchase it again effectively removing it from the first mech so it can be place on another.
Or.....
Any PGI member out their that could finagle an Atlas D (F) into my account, I would be willing to pay the founders package price for it.

The ability to "heroize" normal chassis has been discussed, PGI's feedback was something like "after ui 2.0 we will be able to offer bundles with camos or mechbays and other stuff".
It will be coming, but I smell it will cost more MCs per ton than what's the cost of a former hero mech, seeing their "clan a la carte" that evaluates a 30 ton light the same amount of $$$ (55) than a 100 tonner.
