I'm interested in this design, so how many hardpoints does it have again? Help me out here.

3x Missile Hardpoints
3x Ballistic Hardpoints

I'm just trying to remember what it had.

it was 3 Ballistic in the right arm and 2 missile in the left torso

i liked to run it with an ac10 and some lrms was a fun mech to play

Unfortunately, I never experienced the sheer joy of the CN9-AH while it was around, so I'd like it back just for selfish purposes.

Everyone else having access to it again would just be a cherry on top.

It won't be back, because then no one would buy the Yen Lo Wang, which was added shortly after the AH was removed from MWO.

Well, it's a F2P game, you ofcourse need to spend real money to get that AC20 for your Cent.

This explains how F2P generally works:

This is so spot on

Another day, another sad longing look at that dusty empty mech bay. Where did I put that AH? :D

Yeesh. Yeah, still miss the AH. There is a sort of logic I can understand about them removing the AH, so that they could sell the Yeng Lo Wang, but I think that is long past. Many other mechs out there have had more than their initial 3 released by now, and the AH Centurion is available already by the time line, period and load out. Keeping the YLW as the only AC20 centurion is rather pointless by now, because after all, there are lighter mechs like the Blackjacks by now that run an AC20, so the YLW has lost the AC20 luster in that regards, furthermore, the YLW would still garner sales on the basis of it's nifty paint job, excellent torso twist quirks/speed etc.

Having the option to have builds like AC10, and 2 machine guns, plus some streaks in the 3 missile slots, or run mixes like uac5, machineguns, and some missile combinations would be something that would definitely sell the AH variant, despite it not being one of those clan specific things. I think that given that IS has been neglected a while, they will eventually do a pass on the original mechs. Centurions when they see that, could really do with the release of some of these other variants, including bringing in the AH variant.

The CN9-AH was the best 'mech from Closed Beta. Everything has gone downhill since it was removed. If PGI really wants to turn this ship around... giving back a 'mech they already have modeled, that a large and vocal component of the community has been begging to spend money on for almost two years, would be a great step.

Read through 3 pages of this thread, so sorry if it's already been said, but on top of the -AH being taken away after CBT I've been mad about the Dragon variants which were taken away as well.

Pretty sure the Flame was a C-BILL MECH that was turned into a MC-ONLY HERO. Pissed me off the day I saw that in the shop. As for the other variants, I'm pretty sure that the Flame was completely unique. I think I remember there being a dragon with one less hardpoint but a higher engine rating? And I know that there was a different version of the dakka Dragon floating around as well. While I've forgiven PGI for the removal of these Mechs, I will certainly never forget.

Especially since its been how long since the Dragon was introduced, and there's still only 3 variants, 2 of which have been replaced by Heroes (Flame replaces the -1C essentially, IV4 replaces the -1N as it has the same hardpoints but with added JJs AND better arm height at the expense of slight Mech height increase)! They need to add at least one more Dragon so that the -1C doesn't look like a cheap C-bills knockoff of the Flame!

And I believe the -AH was my favorite Centurion. This is coming from someone who has never liked the Centurion. Always felt like a gimped mech to me, and still does.

EDIT: PGI, not Gaijin...you can tell that I've been happy with War Thunder progress too amirite?

Are there people still buying YLW's with MC? That must be the reason we still don't have the CN9-AH. Wouldn't want to invalidate an MC hero mech.
