For those of you who still get a black screen on startup or random match drops. Think I might have found a solution. The repair tool listed elsewhere here in the forums kept telling me I had an invalid system config. here is what I did to fix that (potentially) and get into matches.

1. Run the program as an Administrator.
2. If you have Zonealarm, starting game mode is not enough. Open up Zonealarm and turn off the advanced firewall, Antivrus and Anti Spyware, and most importantly Application control.
3. Start the game in windowed mode under the base low settings.
4. See if you can get into a match.

I was able to do this and while in game change settings to high etc. Only had one memory allocation error which was not repeatable.

Some notes. Router has IP under DMZ and wired, ping time of 74-88. This is on a fresh install of the game with the following config. Hope this helps.
