What I don't understand ... if it was 12-mans why did they all come at you 1 by 1 in the end instead of grouping up and rushing you together. Regardless, one of the greatest epic comebacks I've ever seen. Tons of respect for staying cool Blastman and not giving up.
Considering all the paper doll readouts, almost every single one of those enemy mechs had a critical component that was open (CT, RT, LT, or Legs) or already legged. With a 30 dmg pinpoint alpha or sustained 10 by UACs, the mechs would have been decommissioned almost instantly.
The other reason is that
<name> had a recent falling out and is training new players for their comp team. Formations and tighter strategies are still developing. Also, the top players in that match where gimped in some ways. I won't say who since I probably can't say who, but some did die earlier than they should have or were in mechs they are not typically in. The one "well deserved" shot was when mwhighlander was not paying attention.. tsk tsk man.
Theoretically, killing the mechs was easy. But in reality, killing them with enough precision, focusing on some and then retargeting another like Blastman did.. now that's what to clap for. Not for the kills but for his synchronization in piloting and approach.
