As i Pilot recently a Blackjack (150 matches) i got aware the these Blackjacks - that currently have a Max Engine Rating of 235 - be rather sluggish and lag at twisting and even aiming (also bcs of the horizontal lock of the Arm to the Torso Reticule)

I suggest to increase the Max Engine Rating for these Variants to 250, so they get in line with the other Medium Mechs regarding Speed and Agility.

I suggest further, a change to the aiming Mechanic for Mechs with horizontal locked Arms so that the Mech stops twisting immediatly upon the stop of the Mouse-Movement.
(Currently this Mech twists the Torso to the Point were an unlocked Arm Reticule would Point at by itself after you have stopped the Mouse already for up to a second which makes aiming rather tricky as you have to guess how far the Mech will Twist)

If you suggest they change anything about how I aim my Jagers, I will be very dissapointed ;) Those things are PERFECT just the way they are... Same with BJs, STKs and the like. Also, if you want a fast blackjack, there's a varient (honestly too lazy to go look up which one, but I believe BJ-1X) that will go at least 116.

I dont want a racing Mech, only that it is lined up with the rest of the Mediums.

Bj has its own role. Its not the same type of brawler as a hunchie. Don't like the way it runs get another mech. It has plenty of advantages and quirks of its own (one of the few that can carry an ac 20)

Also the torso twist slower tthan the mouse is a quirk of EVERY mech. Try a battle master, your arms move much faster than your torso. Its a fact of life and takes skill to learn to cope with

but Thor, the blackjack is lined up with other mediums, its base engine makes it go 64.8 while the Cent and Hunch also stuck at 64.8. The one Blackjack that starts with a bigger engine is pretty great but the non-prototype ones are 45 ton urban mechs, its ACTUALLY designed is to be a poptart/fire support mech. It really doesn't need a bigger engine I use a STANDARD (mind you, I said standard) 200 with speed tweak.

Edit: As a sideline: I love the blackjacks, I have elited the blackjacks. I bought a custom skin for my BJ-3. They're a great mech.

Same could be said of the AWS-8 series that because they are direct fire support that doesn't mean they shouldn't have a bigger engine
yet all the victors can mount xl 375 while 8 series stuck at 300

A engine increase to a 45 tonner surely would help it compete with the shadow hawk ballistic varaint that can go faster with more firepower/armor
