Bought Battlemaster thinking it might be the assault that causes me to stop hating assaults. Bought XL400 for it. Hated Battlemaster. Still hate assault mechs. Sold Battlemaster and forgot to sell fitted gear on it. Now I have an XL400 engine I want to sell but can't see it to sell it because I have no more mechs that can use an XL400 and thus it doesn't even appear in my inventory. Help?

PS - I sell what I don't need or like. Army of people that will tell me to not sell it and that it's a waste just save your breath. I want to sell this engine.

Unfortunately, other than buying a mech that can use it, there is no solution for this problem until UI2.0 which is coming very soon if they can keep to the schedule. You might be able to send an email to support and see what they say. Good luck

I call BS. You can't know if you like a chassis until you 2x basic it. If you have accomplished that since Jan. 21st then you have plenty of money and time and your plight is not worth sympathy.

I never understood why anyone would use a 400xl, they're awful when you can use a 390, be the same effective speed, and save 3.5 tons, because engine weight doesn't scale linearly, so I double feel your pain. Normally I'd say NEVER sell ANYTHING, you'll regret it. But I think the 400 xl is always a bad idea :-(.

On topic, Feb. 4 is a new UI that might make it sell-able.

Wait until patch day, because they have that "inventory" system to be able to do this... at the cost of a terribly designed mechlab.

Unfortunately, we still can't sell the massive armor stocks yet even in that last public test.

Yes but the 2x Battlemaster plays like a semi-truck, fast and can carry tons of weapons but takes forever to stop or turn so I do not blame him besides even if he did not sell the Battlemaster the 400xl sucks.

The Victor 9S is my favorite mech, I'm about to have it mastered and I have a 2.00 kdr in it(atm). It plays exactly the same as it does when it's basic'd out as it does when it's elited. Just a little faster. Also, whats up guy I sometimes see in matches.

@ISP: I am going to (team)kill you if I see you in game. I hadn't even finished basic when you took those screencaps. Do you know how poorly a 340 STD 1G handles without anchor turn? Do you?

What worries me more is your NSA style collection of all match scores and associated user handle metadata for forum stalking.

U.I. 2.0 should allow you to sell the items you currently can't see.

On a side not the Battlemaster 1G is a slug, even with XL400 + 2xBasics the thing can be tricky to pilot. The 1D and the 1S on the other hand are much better torso twist speed and range.

The 1D DakkaMaster is an absolute beast, triple AC/2 + 4 MedLas. The XL370 is the ideal size for the battlemaster.

1- I call BS on your BS because you are not me and cannot know what I do and do not like as well as the criteria I use for making that decision.

2- I do have plenty of money I blow on the game.

3- I asked a question looking for an answer, not sympathy. Do not confuse me for someone like yourself that is prone to trolling and being melodramatic. It's a game dude...

4- Maybe you should learn how to read. I said I hate assault mechs in the OP. I don't have to 2x any assault chassis and decide if I hate it or not because odds are if it's an assault mech, I hate it. I hate the play style. I like lights and fast heavies.

In short **** off to some other thread if you don't feel like being helpful. I asked for insight, not sympathy from some forum warrior who obviously thinks his sympathy is some form of charitable donation to those less fortunate than him.
