Srm 6 Weapon Range Module

I've got SRM 6 weapon module installed and my SRM 6 + Artemis weapons are still showing only 270m range. Any ideas why and does Artemis affect it? Other weapon modules seem to be working fine.

AMS, Machine Gun and SRM 4 modules seem to be the only marginally useful weapon modules.
AMS for obvious reasons, - Machine Guns because heat isn't an issue and SRM 4's because unlike SRM 2's they're maybe one rung above dead weight.
SRM 6 module would likewise be almost useful but stock 6's are already too hot...
I'd love the ML range increase too if I had a ML build that wasn't already broiling my balls as is.
And even among those picks, the validity of using up a module slot for some extra meters is an open question that doesn't look great for the range+ family...Another open question is whether or not one can put 'SRM' and 'Useful' together in any context that doesn't involve a punchline.
As for the Artemis issue maybe it was decided that A-SRM's were already 'Too Powerfur!!'.......which makes me wonder what game the devs are playing.

Can't see them being worth it at the higher tiers either really - maybe for certain players with niche builds which is probably the point. Maybe in the case of ML boats if one could manage the heat, the added engagement range could be useful.

No it does not make me feel better. I'd buy that module again IF IT WOULD INCLUDE ARTEMIS! Who cares if you can't find any value in 15 or 20 added meters. Sad for the player of your experience though.
