Nothing would be better than dropping AC rounds into a structure to see it fall on the mech standing behind it.. or even better yet.. watching LRM's rip a hole right through the building leaving the mech exposed behind it.

Hell, I'd settle for trees and and lampposts that crunch under you
Not like it hasn't been done before...
On another note, Solaris would make a great map.

Actually CryEngine3 comes with destructible trees in their free sdk kit so PGI could easily do that. My guess is they don't due to the terrible fps spikes breaking them causes. (A puny optimized map running at 60 fps, will frequently experience large lag spikes jumping down to 10-30 fps just from knocking one tree down).

PGI » so far not very good » and only a bunch (and most work on cosmetics)
StarCitizen debut trailer featured the CryEngine and real game assets, true from the start.
MWO trailer is pure cinematic, pure moneygrabbing from start.
Play this while you can, have some fun, dont expect more than a "minimal viable product" which is PGI/IGP moto.

What is this nonsense you're spewing?

Star Citizen = going down the same road of delays and pushbacks
Star Citizen = bigger failure if they fail to deliver due to crowdfunding
Star Citizen = not something id buy yet.

What do you mean? Missiles already go through buildings.

If someone can spend $15,000+ (yes, there are package deals that cost that much with SC) on a game that won't exist for another 2 years, I call that mental sickness.

More fun:
Lots of things blowing up at once, notice the terrible lag and breakage and this is on a high end system. Imagine the poor average user trying to deal with this over multiplayer.
Dynamic lava, gravity particles, etc... Really cool but the average fps is 10 and this is a pretty high end system.
