So, people who disco late game now take a death on their stats but it still routinely denies the victors rewards. I would propose that once someone takes damage the other team is guaranteed rewards for their mech appropriate to their victory status at the end of the match.

A problem with this is that some disconnects are not deliberate. I just saw one where a player's client died, as our team was winning. His mech was destroyed as it continued walking backwards out of bounds. Until, client deaths can be distinguished from deliberate disconnects.
A better idea might be to allow <DEAD> players who have yet to disconnect to jump into the seat of an abandoned by a disconnected pilot on their team.

They already get a death on their K/D ratio, why shouldn't the team get the reward for killing them?
