Dear PGI,

For those of us who want to drop 180.00 on 6 clan mech's a la carte... where's our bonus modules? Custom Titles? In game badges? Hanging Medallions? Warhorns? I think if were spending that kind of money we should get all the extras the other packages get, I dont think thats really fair. I was considering getting 6 clans of my choosing, but getting no extra's has held off my wallet.

Anyone feeling the same way?

I feel ridiculous that a light costs the same as a 100 tonner. That's it. About extras packs are made for a purpose, so maybe something could be awarded nevertheless, but they thought that the "discount" is enough I guess.

If you want the extra goodies, buy the $180 package that includes them. If you want to pick and choose your mechs, you get what you chose to get.

Your bonus is that you're getting 6 Clan Mechs of your choosing.

The pre-built packages get modules and other stuff because you have to take the Mechs that are in the package, which may not be exactly the Mechs that you want.

So, which would you rather have? 6 Mechs of your choosing, or a package of Mechs that aren't exactly what you want, but come with some fluff to help you feel better about your purchase?

Wow and what a choice we got rofl... im forced to buy 6 mech's just to get the normal price of $30 per chassis. Get your head out of your @ss man. Were still dropping 180 bucks on it, which is only 60 less than the highest package. I think its enough money to warrant at least some of the bonuses the higher packages get. Its not like I am asking alot here... 180 dollars is alot of money for a video game. Not even having an in game badge is extremely lame for spending 180 dollars on a clan mech package and supporting the early access clan invasion.

Are you guys paid by PGI or something? Why are you all defensive and supportive of it?

We don't even know what the bonus modules, custom titles, or warhorns are.

I'd just like to know what I'm putting in my cart.

This is true, although some of it we can guess what they will be. I just would like to see these extras included with 180 dollars worth of cash. I want to join a game and at least have a in game badge so people see you got a clan package.

Well, congrats Alwrath. Everyone would like that. And if they got it, hardly anyone would pay that extra $60 for the full package.

Considering the changes they've already made in the pricing model and adding in the ala carte mode, the chances of them deciding to benevolently throw in the goodies into the ala carte, too, are next to nil.

No one's forcing you to buy anything. In fact, PGI is trying to encourage you to buy a package instead of 6 a la carte Mechs.

If you want to buy 6 Mechs of your own choosing instead of buying one of the packages that PGI put together, "of your own choosing" is the benefit you gain. You don't deserve to get the "package" rewards because you didn't buy a package.

Why is that so difficult for you to understand?

Oh he understands it. He just figures that if he complains maybe others who went a la carte too will get in on the QQ train and it might get enough traction for him to get something he didn't pay for.

Do you also go to McDonalds and complain that they don`t give you a free coke and fries with your 6 individually ordered Big Macs, Quarter Pounders, Mc Chickens, and cheeseburgers, because the Big Mac Meal has both?

Becasue that`s doing exactly the same thing you´re doing here. Except that here you actually ARE getting a free coke (premium time) :)

TL;DR: Thread is an entitled whine by a player that somehow thinks PGI owes him something.

Pick and choose =/= package.

If you want a title, badge and whatever else, pay for it.

And as for being defensive for them, someone has to defend them from crazy silly people.

You don't have to spend 60 dollars on a pair of 10 mil cbill DOA light mechs, and you get 90 days of premium time if you buy it.

Its the warhawk collection minus the horns and the bad mechs. But I do agree that the lack of a badge is a lil lame.

I never said PGI was forcing me to buy anything... I said they force you to get 6 mechs if you want to pay the " normal " price. Do you even read posts before responding or do you just enjoy trolling? And it just so happens I am buying a package, its just a different package than the collection package... so I honestly think we should get some of the extra goodies because we are spending...

$180

Give us a freakin in game badge at least. So lame.

I never said or implied PGI owes me anything... I just think we should get some extras for spending... wait for it...

$180 $180 $180 $180

Do you have any actual feelings on the issue or are you going to continue spreading metaphors that have nothing to do with the discussion?

It seems you are buying the wrong package then. What you want is included in the other ones.

Normally once conditions are found acceptable to both sides and a deal is reached, that is the end of the transaction.
You seem to think the terms of the agreement have changed somehow, or that you are entitled to more than you bargained for. In most instances this would be a life lesson, an opportunity for you to mature and learn from your mistake. However you are in luck and PGI is a very customer service friendly organization who would be happy to refund your money. I think once you enter the real world you will find most companies will offer you warm cup of [redacting] and send you on your way, all obligations fulfilled.

No they don't. The "normal" price is $55 per Mech + 2 variants.

If you buy more than one, you get a discount and you get to choose which Mechs you buy. If you buy 6 a la carte, your discount happens to be equal to the package price.

If you buy a package, you get the package price AND you get some bonus goodies, but you have to accept the Mechs that PGI put in the package.

You are not buying a package. You are buying 6 Mechs of your own choosing. Ergo, you do not get the bonus goodies no matter how much you spend. If you want the bonus goodies, pony up the additional $60 and get the Masakari package. You'll get an extra two Mechs (+ variants) along with the bonus goodies that you seem to crave so much.

It's not a difficult concept, but I concede that it is beyond your mental acuity.
