Hy all!

I am the only one who think, the LOCUST arm's joint is incorrect?

Huh, yea mine look like that too. Perhaps they meant it to be that way, but that does look like a circle in which the arm would attach to on the inside. I'm sure they noticed the mistake if it is one, they're probably just hoping none of us have until they get around to fixing it.

No, you are not the only one to think this. And this is not the only thread on the subject.

However, it's likely due to the devs doing some testing with arm mounting points and deciding that this one was best. This testing was likely done after the texturing was done, so they just left the circle-shape there.

They made the right choice -- the arms are supposed to be higher off the shoulders, according to both the old and new official artwork.

Noticed this the day I got the Pheonix package. I figured it was a mis-hap with the texture, since there's nothing that connects the arm mount to the arm, and it does look like it's raised. But if it's an error in model placement or texture placement, can't really be sure. However I forgot all about it since then.

Maybe they should just switch left arm with right one, they will be upside down but still will be higher and joint textures would fit...

Hell no. It looks good the way it is, despite the texture.

They would have to completely re-work the AMS mounting and weapon mountings if they switched arms.

There is no need for them to do anything, except maybe fix the texture when they have some spare time long after CW and such is in the game.
