I keep forgetting there is actually a mech called that (keep wanting to call the Grid Iron the Linebacker ;))

These are great, and really kicking up my Mech2:31st nostalgia (now if only I could get the blasted thing to WORK! :))

i found a way to get it MW2 31st centrury to work, and without mechVM. I had to do some editing to some of the files but now it works flawless for me. i'm thinking of uploading it as a patch.

well, i just did a few edits, one major thing was making it run without the cd, and a few other things that stabilize it when it starts up and when it runs. All you would have to do is copy and paste it over you're original copy to patch it then open and run it with dosbox (yes, you have to use dosbox.) If you or others are interested I can upload it and share it.

I found DOSBOX was the best way... If you're really jonesing for MW2/Mercs, download VirtualBox and fire up a Windows 95 VM :)

And play HOVER!

Wait, how did you get these models? It looks like you just extracted the from the games themselves, and if so, how? Also, I'd like to say you did a great job!

Hmmm, been a few years...I think I used MechVM; but I have all the models completely extracted sitting around somewhere if you just want them already extracted.

That would be great! I have been wanting to get into 3D printing more and I was actually going to print off these guys for the lulz of having MW2 Plastic models.

I particularly want Thug, Linebacker, Gargoyle, and Crab. I want to see if I can't spruce them up a little too once I print them with maybe some added details (probably from models and such).

Ok, I'll dig through some of my files and see if I can't find them. I'll probably just create an upload for them.

Thanks so much! I can't wait! Also if it wouldn't be to much could you also upload Zeus?

I'm actually just going to create an upload with all of them, including the ATI 3D Rage edition ones. That way you can have every single one of them in one download.

Good news! I was able to find them! I've got them uploaded, and created a separate thread just for the .obj files. Enjoy!: http://mwomercs.com/...or-2-obj-files/
