No item should do absolutely nothing, ever. We have the Command Console for that.

You won't be having that problem for too much longer -- they'll be introducing voting on maps and being able to re-equip 'Mechs while in the pre-match screen in the April patches.

Until then, the Cap Accel should have absolutely no purpose if there are no capture points.

I'd be fine with letting it run the clock out faster on Skirmish.

Alternatively, have it shove the match into overtime if you have it and are still alive... -_-

If this were the case, I would again equip cap accelerators on my lights.

But right now, getting a skirmish match in and of itself is a big enough *********** for any light, the last thing I need to do is risk gimping myself further by taking a cap accelerator....

how about a 5% cbill boost so you can buy modules that aren't {Scrap} faster?

I believe the only changes you get to make to loadouts are to re-stock consumable modules, however. So you wouldn't be able to remove the Cap Accel.

It's possible something changed since I read that, so by all means correct me if so.
