Nonsense! My Raven X4, preforms admirably! :)
Ember will be as good!

Again, can't use an XL, so you'll be in a std 125 with that build.

I like the loadout, I might look at the Firestarter once it goes on sale, though I'll have to see the standard variants.

All and all, I should probably note this:

I'm uninstalling MWO and doing a fresh install. The last time there was a major change (third person) my user.cfg file wouldn't change my FOV until I reinstalled. With a WHOLE NEW INTERFACE... I think it's just a good step to take.

If anyone else has been having problems, I recommend doing a fresh install to you, too.

Seconding this: I won't be able to log into until 5-6 Alaska time - and then I will probably be taking Koniving's advice for a fresh install (getting texture glitches all around - Blue explosions! woo!)

I think people are underestimating the sheer dickery a pack of these things could get up to. I run a wolf pack of flamer jenners with a few of my friends sometimes and there is no better way to shut down a mech. We run with 2 MLs and 3 Flamers each, 2 of us fire the Flamers and 2 of us fire MLs, switching roles as heat dictates. It works on any map, and it is guaranteed to keep your target from dropping below 90%.

while this may be true how long would it take 4 ML jenners to down a single mech?

I was planning until next month with the DX11 patch to do a full reinstall, but it looks like UI2.0 has killed my game, using the Repair tool at the moment, but if that fails, I'm gonna guess a full-reboot in my immediate future...

That sentence...I do no think it means what you think it means.

MG's and Flamers...yeah...that's a real heavy hitter. I understand that we'll all swap them out for medium lasers, but a part of me is sad that the REALLY COOL looking video is ignoring how useless the stock will be.

With 4 ML and 4 MG's though...this 'lil guy will be a badass :P

Think you missed the "fire" power connotation :(

The Ember looks like a decent mech ... 35 tons, 295XL, jump jets, 4 energy and 4 ballistic hard points.

The only problem with the Ember is that this is what the Jenner Oxide hero mech should have been (rather than 4 missile hard points and no jump jets).

The word "EMBER" is a bit funny for a Mech, It's the word for "man/people/human" in the hungarian language... I wonder if they knowed it...
